What we supply

Pressure & flow instruments we supply

Pressure and temperature gauges, accessories and flow meters for fuel, oil and chemicals. Every line is quoted with its standard, material and lead time.

01

Bourdon-tube pressure gauges

General-purpose gauges for water, air, oil and steam in dry or liquid-filled cases.

02

Glycerin-filled gauges

Liquid filling dampens needle flutter from pumps and compressors and extends gauge life under vibration.

03

Diaphragm-seal gauges

Isolate the gauge from corrosive, viscous or crystallising media and from sanitary process lines.

04

Bimetal thermometers

Robust dial thermometers for pipes and vessels, with thermowells for removal under pressure.

05

Siphons, snubbers & needle valves

Siphons protect gauges from live steam; snubbers smooth pressure pulses; needle valves isolate the gauge for replacement.

FAQ

Pressure & flow instruments questions

How do I choose the right pressure gauge range?

Choose a range where your normal working pressure sits around the middle of the dial and does not exceed about 75% of full scale. Too low a range overloads the gauge; too high a range makes readings imprecise.

Why does my gauge needle shake?

Pulsation from pumps or compressors, or line vibration. A glycerin-filled gauge dampens the needle and a snubber smooths pressure pulses. Both extend gauge life.

Do I need a siphon on a steam line?

Yes. A siphon holds condensate that shields the gauge mechanism from live steam temperature. Without it, steam gauges fail early and read inaccurately.

Can you supply calibration certificates?

Calibration certificates can be supplied on request for applicable instruments. Mention it on your RFQ.
